Johann Appoyer runs a farm with biogas facilities in Grabern, Austria. He has acquired a GreenTec Multi Carrier HXF 2802 Tele and Quadsaw LRS 1602 to maintain hedgerows on the fields. The machines were purchased through Mauch which is GreenTec’s importer in Austria.
“The farm has been in the family since 1773, and I started the biogas plant in 2000,” said Johann Appoyer who grows potatoes, wheat, corn and pumpkin in his fields. “There is always a constant need for machines. Recently, I needed to maintain the windbreak hedges between the fields. Something I had not done for three years.”
Previously, it worked more or less as a community. “We always exchanged ideas together. A neighbor borrowed my tractor, and I borrowed his GreenTec saw. But the work became more and more and my desire for independence grew. So I decided to buy a saw myself. Of course, also a GreenTec one, as I have been familiar with this brand for years and am completely satisfied,” said Johann Appoyer.
This decision led Johann Appoyer to the Mauch company where he received advice.
“It was very good. I got exactly what I wanted. The GreenTec Quadsaw LRS 1602 meets my requirements to perfection. It is versatile and extremely robust. The safety features are also excellent. If it is bend back by a stronger branch, nothing will happen. And if smaller branches get caught, just as little. I am completely satisfied. My windbreak hedges are nice and narrow again. With regular pruning, my fields do not get smaller or overgrow."
