GreenTec is proud to announce the acquisition of Razorback, a respected UK manufacturer led by industry veteran Martin Lole and Director Dani Bond. “We see the acquisition of Razorback as a way to firmly anchor ourselves in the UK market and to provide it with the respect, presence, and resources it deserves,” said Henrik Bernth, CEO of GreenTec. “We are already receiving a very warm welcome from UK farmers and contractors, and we’re pleased about the growing interest in our innovative machinery.”

Pete Matsell, Co-owner of PJM Agri, shared his thoughts on the acquisition of Razorback: “We are looking forward to expanding our product range and are excited about the opportunities this brings. Martin Lole is best known as the original founder of Spearhead Machinery, where he introduced several groundbreaking vegetation management tools. Since stepping away from the business, Martin has focused on developing Razorback into a leading UK brand.
John Christensen, founder of GreenTec, and Martin Lole have known each other for over 30 years. Their partnership began in 1993, after which John in the mid 90’s built up a complete dealer network in the continental European for Spearhead. They quickly complemented each other’s strengths, bringing innovations like the folding rotary mower to Danish and European farmers.
Today, GreenTec manufactures some of the market’s most innovative solutions for green area maintenance, such as the award-winning Spider and Scorpion boom mowers. These have received international recognition, including the Demopark Gold Medal (2023) and the Agritechnica Silver Medal (2019). With John Christensen now leading product development at GreenTec, and Martin Lole bringing more than 30 years of engineering expertise, the partnership thrives on innovation, hands-on feedback, and continuous collaboration.
Martin Lole says:
“I’ve known John and the GreenTec team for many years, and I’ve always admired their commitment to engineering excellence. Their products complement our existing offering perfectly and allow us to provide the customers with a more comprehensive range of vegetation management solutions.”
John commented:
“We are delighted to acquire Razorback. Martin and his team have an outstanding reputation in the UK market, and this partnership is a great opportunity to bring GreenTec’s vast range of machines to a wider audience.”
Razorback will continue as a brand in the UK, while select products will be integrated into the GreenTec portfolio. GreenTec is committed to preserving Razorback’s reputation for durability and affordability.
