Gerhard Kreiml is a grassland farmer that takes care of the breeding and sale of Quarter Horses. The farm was built in 1995 and they currently manage around 20 animals. But also everything around it: forests have to be looked after, paths and fences have to be cleared and meadows have to be kept fertile. “Until now, a contractor has done all of this. And we did not want that anymore,” said Gerhard’s wife. “We wanted to be more independent and mow and cut when we have time for it.”
This explains the most recent visit to Mauch which is GreenTec’s importer in Austria: “Thanks to the hired workers, we were quite familiar with boom mowers,” said Gerhard Kreiml. “The vision became a reality at Mauch, where we have been a customer for 22 years. And once again it was the right decision to go there.”
It was the GreenTec Scorpion 430 S boom mower that the Kreimls purchased. It included a limb saw and flail mower attachment. “A good purchase,” said the couple happily. “We are now much more flexible and get very nice cuts and clean mulching results. We can use our meadows much more efficiently and productively because we always cut back the trees to counter shading at the edges of the forest in a timely manner. This is how you regulate and benefit your grasslands. The horses also get more feed and it all looks beautiful and neat.”
