Mario Hemetsberger is an Austrian contractor who performs a variety of tasks for the maintenance of public and forest roads. Verge mowing, branch cutting and tree felling are just to name a few the activities. The constantly increasing demand for his services led to intensive internet research for products that could increase his efficiency.
"I have kept my eyes open at various trade fairs," said Hemetsberger. “But mainly I searched the internet for a saw and watched countless YouTube videos. Since I have never owned a boom mower myself, I naturally had to do some research.” In the end, he decided to go with the GreenTec Scorpion 630 PLUS.
"I asked Landtechnik Scharmüller in Lenzing, Austria to help me with acquiring the machine. Matthias took care of it right away. Together with Mario Ortbauer from Mauch (GreenTec’s Austrian importer), the acquisition was finalized. The purchase process was very pleasant. I can now say: The saw is even better than I thought and surprisingly quiet too.”
He seems to really like the new quality of work. “The fact that you can drive the mowing head both forwards and backwards with the rotator is just perfect. It is also great that you have collision protection in both directions. Thanks to the reversing device on my Valtra tractor, I can also choose – depending on the activity – whether I drive normally or in reverse. That is immensely practical!”
