It can be used to trim trees in forests, maintain hedgerows on fields, control growth in orchards, keep roads and paths clear of obstacles, etc.

Our tree trimming equipment is highly efficient and much safer than other options, such as manual labor with chainsaw. You have no risk of branches falling on you while you operate the tree trimmers safely from the cabin of your vehicle. Most of our tree trimmers are equipped with an arm that extends its range, so the cut-off material does not touch the vehicle but instead fall to the side of it.

If you are a farmer, you can make the density of your hedgerows stronger by regular pruning the trees. This will create an impenetrable shelter zone that will protect your crops from wind damage and give you a higher yield. We offer solutions that can be both rear or front mounted on tractors and loaders for this purpose.
Forest paths tend to get overgrowth which can make it difficult for hikers, cyclists and vehicles to use the paths. Our Quadsaw LRS series is often used in combination with cranes, telehandlers or skid steers to make the forest paths passable once again.
Municipalities also use our tree trimming equipment for cutting overhanging branches off near roads, bicycle paths and sidewalks. We also see use cases in the railway industry.

Limb saw attachments

We offer a series of hydraulic powered limb saws. The tree trimmers are equipped with 4 circular blades that have carbide tipped teeth. A strong branch guider is fitted to each blade which ensures that all branches are pruned with a smooth cut.

The Quadsaw LRS series is available in different working widths and cutting capacity. The smallest model is the Quadsaw LRS 1402 which has a working width of 1.4 m (4’7”) and cuts branches up to 10 cm (3.94”) in thickness. This model is designed for smaller vehicles, such as skid steers, mini excavators and compact tractors.

The largest model in the series is the Quadsaw LRS 2402 which has an astonishing working of 2.4 m (7’10”) and cuts branches up to 21 cm (8.27”) in thickness. This is truly a beast of a machine. It can be mounted on large vehicles, such as telehandlers, front end loaders, tractors and excavators.

Cutter bar attachments

We have two different solutions of cutter bars. The Cutterbar HX series has the largest capacity and can cut branches up to 11 cm (4.33”) in thickness. The trimmer bars are made of Hardox steel which ensure a long lifespan. The speed is lower than the Quadsaw LRS series as you can maintain a driving speed of 2 km/h (1.24 mph).

Another option is our Cutterbar HS series which can cut branches up to 6 cm (2.36”) while maintaining a large driving speed of 5 km/h (3.11 mph). The HS series is a versatile trimmer as it can be used for trees and hedges. It is equipped with small blades between the fingers of the machine. Due to specially shaped blades, the HS series perform a sleek cutting result.

Tree trimmers

It is recommended that you trim trees in the autumn and winter periods. The leaves have fallen off the trees and you have clear visibility of what you are cutting. This makes it easy to avoid wildlife that may be hiding in the area. You will also steer clear of the bird nesting season by trimming trees in the autumn and winter. If the ground is frozen, it will be easier to drive your vehicle on fields without leaving a damaging trail.

This vary depending on which model you are interested in. The biggest tree trimmer in our range cuts branches up to 21 cm (8.27”) in thickness.

The most efficient way of trimming trees is by using our Quadsaw LRS series. The blades spin at a rapid pace and you can maintain a driving speed of 5 km/h (3.11 mph).

There are two solutions for trimming trees disease-free. You can either use our Quadsaw LRS or Cutterbar HS models. The machines will perform a smooth and even cutting result where the risk of infections and diseases in the trees are highly reduced.

The safest and fastest way to maintain shelterbelts and windbreak zones is to use our tree trimming equipment combined with a vehicle of your choice, e.g., tractor or loader. If you need to cut thick branches, we recommend our Quadsaw LRS series. If the branches are much smaller, i.e., 4 cm (1.57”) or less in thickness, we recommend our Rotary Mulcher RM 232.

It is recommended that you trim your hedgerows every year to increase the density of the trees. It will maintain the effect of the shelterbelt, so the crops are protected from the damage that strong wind and erosion cause.

All our tree equipment can used for making the road passable and safe by regularly pruning branches that reach into the road.

We recommend that you use our Cutterbar HX or HS models for horizontal tree trimming. These machines are very durable and can handle material that fall on it. The Quadsaw LRS models should only be used for vertical tree trimming as the blades risk bending and breaking if you use them for horizontal cutting.

We recommend that you remove the cut-off branches by using a grapple on your vehicle to gather all material and then lift it over to a wagon that can drive it away. Another option is to have a mulcher rear mounted on your tractor. The trimming equipment would be mounted in the front. The mulcher would be shredding the branches right after they have been cut off.
